Established in1932, Mark Harrington Glassware has been mending family heirlooms for over six decades. Our clientele spans three generations. What began as a repair service to grind out chips on everyday glassware has now expanded to include the repair of fine crystal and restoration of museum quality porcelain art pieces. Within the San Francisco Bay Area retail giftware community, we enjoy the reputation as "the gifted people who pick up the pieces." Move curser over photos to view changes Crystal Repair Our craftsmen grind and polish chips, reset stems on broken stemware, compotes and vases, bond broken cut crystal plates, bowls and figurines. Damaged paperweights, candleholders and glass art can be polished and reshaped to retain the integrity of the piece. China Repair Our artisans use innovative techniques and methods to not only repair chips and cracks but to also recreate missing parts on decorative china, porcelain and pottery without re-firing. Lladros, Hummels, Dresden, Herend, Imari and like items can be bonded together or restored so the repair is invisible to the naked eye. It is also possible to restore previously repaired items that have aged or discolored over time.
